Education

Alaska’s students deserve to have access to a good education that will set them up to be independent and productive community members. Alaska students are increasingly robbed of that opportunity because of a decade of year over year cuts that have forced teacher layoffs, increasing classroom sizes, and eliminated arts, athletics, and language programs. 

A group of bipartisan legislators have made addressing this issue a priority.
